Truth be told, Sheva just found out about the DNA thing not too long ago when she had been covetously eyeing up someone's arsenal. It had been, as one would expect, a disappointing discovery.
His noise of frustration earns an eyebrow raise in lieu of the creature that was following them. if it didn't know where they were before, then it likely did now. Then again, the whispered conversation didn't help. That's probably what gave them away in the first place.
Unless the thing smelled her. If that's it, she'll apologize later.
But for now, they keep moving. Or at least she keeps moving and just assumes he'll follow behind her. Even better for the man lacking in physical prowess, Sheva's gone and picked up the pace. her legs are already burning in a nagging manner, reminding her of how little she's had to eat over the past several days. No food means no energy, and no energy means no muscle repair. Just add that to the constan physical exertion and she's in her own private mental war zone of sorts.
So she doesn't want to hear him bitch about the pace.
The slight rest of a confrontation even sounds good to her right about now, but that doesn't weigh heavily in her decision to fight. It's the fact that they can't outrun it when it finally catches up with them, and it will catch up with them.]
We fight. That may involve a mixture of both tactics with a creature this size, however.
